March Membership Meeting

Who should file taxes?
Where can I file my taxes for free or for a small fee?
What are common mistakes I should avoid when filing taxes?
How can I obtain a tax I.D and how will that impact my immigration case, job, or small business?

Tax season is here! Join your fellow African community members for a lively meeting on taxes.

The agenda will include the opportunity to:

  • Get information about where you can file your taxes for free or for a small fee;
  • Discuss some common mistakes people make when filing taxes and how you can avoid making those mistakes;
  • Learn who should file taxes and what the benefits are; and
  • Engage with tax professionals on the importance of obtaining a tax I.D and how it can impact your immigration case, job, or small business.

Refreshments and French translation will be provided as usual. Bring a friend to keep our movement growing!
