Ready for Action Rally

May 19 is the day that President Obama’s Executive Action program, Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA), was scheduled to accept applications.

DAPA will give relief and work opportunity to millions of undocumented parents with American children. But it has been blocked by a lawsuit and is being held up in court.

On May 19, New York’s immigrant communities will rally to say we want an end to delays, and the opportunity to apply for DAPA.

Join us as we demonstrate that New York is #ReadyForAction!

Sponsored by African Communities Together, Catholic Migration Services, Center for Popular Democracy, Faith in New York, Hispanic Federation, Hotel Trades Council, La Fuente, Make the Road New York, Minkwon Center for Community Action, National Domestic Workers Alliance, New York Central Labor Council, New York Communities for Change, New York Immigration Coalition, National Day Labor Organizing Network, and SEIU 32BJ.
